Returning for an 11th season, HBO’s compelling reality series “Hard Knocks” will feature the Los Angeles Rams. As well-received as the docudrama has been over the past decade, this year’s version will be even more compelling for football fans as it is the first year a relocating franchise has been featured. Produced by NFL Films, the 5 episode series will offer up a candid view of the Ram’s first training camp back in Southern California this summer at UC Irvine.

“It’s exciting to chronicle a franchise with so many compelling storylines, highlighted by the team’s return to the Los Angeles market and the enormously warm reception the Rams are experiencing,” Peter Nelson, HBO Sports’ executive vice president, said. “The series has become a summertime destination for TV viewers, and we can’t wait for the premiere on Aug. 9.”

A film crew of 30 people will follow the team for more than 1,500 hours before editing down to the five episodes of an hour each. The series will be narrated by veteran voice actor Liev Schreiber .

The show is set to premiere on HBO on Aug. 9 at 10 p.m. ET and will air on Tuesdays until the finale on Sept. 6. The trailer for the show can be viewed by following the link below:
