University of South Carolina product Pharoh Cooper was a standout WR before he was drafted last year by the Rams. In his second season in the NFL, he is leading the league in kickoff return yards (300), return average (27.3), returns of at least 20 yards (9), longest return (66 yards), and attempts (11).
It is interesting to know, that because of the NFL’s attempt to phase out kickoffs with rule modifications, not one kickoff has been returned for a touchdown yet at this point in the season. In addition, only one punt has been returned for a touchdown so far this year.
