The Los Angeles Rams have re-signed K Greg Zuerlein to a 3 year contract extension today, as a reward for his improvement this past fall over his dismal 2015. He successfully converted 86.4 percent of his field goals in 2016, 10th in the NFL in that category. In 2015, he ranked last in the league with a 66.7 percent field goal conversion rate. His real strength, however, lies in his ability to make long field goals. Over the course of his five years in the NFL, he has made 2 field goals in excess of 60 yards and 18 successful field goal conversions in excess of 50 yards.
