Deshaun Watson meant the world to the Houston Texans. After suffering a torn ACL, the NFL’s current leader in passes that ended in touchdowns underwent surgery, and will likely be ready for play at the beginning of next season. Backup quarterback Tom Savage has now been promoted to 1st string quarterback, and lead the Texans’ offense to a weak 14 point output against the lowly Indianapolis Colts last week. Without Andrew Luck at the helm, the Colts are anemic.

The sportsbook at Wynn Las Vegas Casino currently has the spread for the game listed at 12 points, and their moneyline for the Texans currently sits at +475. This means that a $100 wager for Houston to pull off an upset would net you $475 if the Texans were to prevail tomorrow.

On the other hand, a $650 dollar wager on the Rams would only get you your money back plus $100.

It will be interesting to see how many times Sammy Watkins gets a pass thrown in his direction, although he apparently has been relishing his opportunities to set key blocks downfield for his mates on offense. He currently is fourth on the team with 331 yards receiving. This physical receiver often creates huge matchup problems for opposing defenses, and we should see him have more targets from emerging QB Jared Goff in the second half of this season.

The over/under for tomorrow’s game stands at 46 points, but with the Rams high flying offense and after dropping 51 points last week vs. the Giants at MetLife Stadium, the Rams could score 46 points by themselves. They’ve already scored over 40 points 3 times this season. They should be able to leave their mark on the Texans just like former Rams cheerleader Cherise left her mark on Klay Thompson’s patio last year.

The Rams will host the Texans at 1:05PM Pacific tomorrow at the Coliseum.
